This article was a joy from start to finish.

I loved the title; “…Europe Told trump to Shove It”

MANY of us here in the U.S. are doing our damndest to tell the fat fascist to shove it.

I was an F-16 instructor pilot. Now I’m earnestly fighting for the survival of our country against all threats foreign AND DOMESTIC !!

I loved your closing; “Let Trump rot in his contradictions. The rest of us have work to do.”

Let trump rot. Period. But, vance, Rubio, Witkoff, Bondi, Hegseth, Gabbard…; they all have to go - some of them to jail. We have work to do, too. Wish us well.

Zelensky very cleverly attached the 2018 Trump administration document to the summary. Normally, that should hurt one's conscience very badly. But Trump ? No conscience.

Worse than “no” conscience; he’s endowed with a deep seated affinity for evil and schadenfreude - deriving pleasure from others misfortune, especially if inflicted by him, which bumps him all the way to sadistic.

You put it very aptly. That's the nature of the man.

But at least it’s clear what went down, and that Bullshit Barbie is not honest about anything at all.

She is not honest ever. She presents her propaganda with arrogance and utter disdain. She makes all her MAGA predecessors seem more palatable which is truly surprising.

Stunningly the bullshit Barbies started in my experience with Kellyanne and just never stopped as a tradition of the corrupt, depraved con. Poor Sarah Huckabee thrown to the curb by the man she lost her dignity for. Sad beyond sad for her people. This is evil shit.

Whoever touches Trump withers and dies as Lincoln Project’s Rick Wilson put it. So many went to jail after they touched Trump. Pence is in wilderness. JD will be cast aside too - there’s no way he’s going to be more popular with MAGA than Trump Junior. But Trump will win, at least by his own definition of it. He survived two impeachments, an assassination attempt, 34 felonies, all DOJ cases are withdrawn, Fannie Willis undid herself. To survive amidst all odds is his destiny, the opposite being the destiny for those who shine his shoe. It’s tragic.

“Nothing this administration says can be trusted. Not their promises, not their policies, not even their written commitments. They won’t honor agreements. They won’t stand by their word. And when cornered, they’ll pretend it never happened.”

Shankar, you hit the nail on the head. I heard that Japan just refused a Trump deal, saying “it would rebuke to any trade deal with America that includes a trade block of China.”

No one takes Trump seriously; that said, they do take him literally, and no longer fear him. Whatever respect the world had for this nation is gone for good, since they know another Trump could easily take the Whitehouse one day; who’s demonstrably worse!

Furthermore, once he announced his tariff plan on the Whitehouse lawn a few weeks back, the world finally realized they were dealing with a deranged madman, without a semblance of self awareness or reality.

Trump isn’t even a joke in diplomatic circles around the world anymore; he’s become a punchline! And therein lies the rub. He’s pushed our allies aside, and now no one trusts he will support them if faced with a challenge by Russia or China; just ask Ukraine, the Kurds, or the former Afghan government.

Bottom line, our future is looking bleak! I truly hope we can come back from this, but each day, I find myself convinced otherwise. IMHO…:)

That is really good news for Ukraine and the rest of Europe. Trump's team is getting weaker by the day.

Excellent article. Persuasive as always—with great data. Optimism for the weekend. Trump, for all intents and purposes is a mass murderer.

With Japan adding their own satellite intelligence that also helps. I guess it remains mostly terrain data that Us has that others don’t? Or am I missing something else?

I think it has come down very heavily in the last two months. The awacs changes a lot, the only concern here is Putin will have a target on those two aircrafts. Ukraine will keep them back, but it is the crew that matters. Lose them, Ukraine will be in deep trouble. But yes, US has lost significant leverage this week.

Time for Ukraine to go after the remaining A-50s :)

Ukraine (if not already) should put up some loyal wingman drones to fly with the AWACS armed. That would provide protection even if the loyal wingman has to physically intercept an missiles.

Now that I think about it, I wonder if that is actually the first ideal use of loyal wingman. As AWACS sentries. Doesn't tie up manned aircraft and AWACS would be optimal for target identification and assignment for loyal wingman. It would also give the AWACS their own firepower in case of a target of opportunity.

Not familiar with how this awacs version Saab is equipped, but one of the great features of their mission includes solid intel on any airborne threat to them. They are likely able to determine the nature and range to any Russian airborne aircraft or guided missiles, and maneuver accordingly to stay out of range. The limitation, here, is the SAAB-340 is turbo-prop, not jet. If they need to run, they can’t run quite as fast. ECM (electronic counter measures) would also surely be part of there equipment. They are probably mostly at risk on the ground, depending on how they’re hangared.

Wouldn’t want to bet on those AWACS lasting till end of May. 🤔 If Ukraine always acts in accordance with its constitution, why is Zelensky still pretending to be president? 😂 Ukraine just wholesale rejected Kellogg’s silly plan, which is objectively the best possible set of terms that Ukraine could ever get, going forward. I guess Azov is absolutely determined on a Gotterdamerung. Ukraine is shrinking before our eyes, and by end of 2025, the Russians will prob be on the river. The longer this goes on, the worse it gets for Ukraine. No serious (ie non-western) military analyst would give Ukraine any chance whatsoever of ever regaining Crimea or the other 4 oblasts. As Arestovich recently put it - in 6 months it might be 6 not the current 4. Lastly, I think The Crimea declaration mysteriously forgot to mention Kosovo…….. Duh.

The ignorance of most people on this post is overwhelming. What is the purpose of Europe’s continuing the war? Russia will not lose. Ukraine will be devastated. But the war machine continues on making money and they don’t give a damn about human life. Ukrainian citizens are just father for making more money with military supplies. Same purpose with the people trying to get us into war with Iran. The war machine needs to be fed at all costs. It’s all a lie. You all are being used.

Bless them all. 😂 Just read some of the comments on this thread……… drinkers of the kool-aid, all. Wake up clowns! Russia has spent 3 years plus defeating 3 x Ukrainian armies, and the entirety of NATO in the background (and foreground). Russia is immeasurably stronger now than in 2022, Ukraine is nearly destroyed, Europe is hugely weakened and deindustrialising, and the U.S. has lost another war. The consequences of all this are changing the world forever. ‘Support’ for Ukraine has ensured its destruction - just as support for Mexico in a similar situation would ensure its destruction.

😂 Yeah. Defo. Ukraine is winning. The 23 offensive was a massive success. Kursk invasion was a massive win. The Russian economy is collapsing. It’s a stalemate. Russia has lost 1million KIA. The Russian conscripts are fighting with shovels. The Russians are cannibalising washing machines for their missiles. Russia is a gas station. There are no Nazis in Ukraine……because Zelensky is Jewish! 😂 Blah, blah, bullshit blah. 😂 Did I forget anything? Come back to me when the Russians have taken Odessa & Kharkov. ✊
