I am so ashamed of myself his country—or the parts that back Trump. I hope Zelensky refuses the deals. Once you start dealing with an untrustworthy country you are sunk.

There is no deal with Trump three days after they would sign it OK it would be renege down or the worst possible digging and mining machines would be sent over there come on Solinski needs to offer it to the rest of the countries that are coming to his aid in the security of his country in a region that will not be overrun by the Russians selling to China sell it to every country in return for their military assistance! No hurry to give the melon-faced felon any juice! Wait until 2026 or 2028 to sell your country.

Perhaps three weeks will also see some consolidation of Congressional pushback. The headlines this morning are about US cutting off Starlink if Ukraine doesn’t sign deal.

It will be really good if Trump and Musk do the worst they can in the next three weeks, so the world can see who these people are. Especially for Europe to understand there is no point in the USA anymore.

This is really good. An unvarnished tell me like it is and what should be done about it. I have trouble poking any holes in your analysis and arguments for what should be done. I would have thought that Poland, the Baltics, Finland and Sweden would have been the main ones for Ukraine to get on their side since they have the most skin in the game. I can see why having the bigger economy on their side is also important. I can definitely see that with Germany all in with Ukraine all the rest will fall in line.

Trump is no friend to Wall Street unless there is something in it for him. He seemed to be very excited initially after his conversation with Putin that he would gain access to Russian markets. As I have said before, nobody should contemplate investing in Russia without studying the Bill Browser experience which exposed the unstoppable corruption of Rissian olygarchs. Ukraine already knows what Trump will never comprehend and so any deal will have to be absolutely watertight for them.

It won't be watertight if Trump is the one signing the papers. Everything with him is transactional and transactional means that if he can't get anything out of the deal right NOW, he is out of there.

Excellent insight about the three sides to the US-Ukrainian "deal".

Do we know who composes the "Wall Street Swamp"?

Having this information would be hugely valuable in that it would incentivize Americans to avoid/boycott these firms and firms which invest in them. Unless we can "make it hurt" they will continue their swamp-like ways.

Germany votes tomorrow 2/23.

it Is not within our mandate to tell Ukraine what to do with their resources, We should not even be involved, Our primary interest is defense of democracy, and must abide by their wishes.

What do you think about the post from Alnur Mussayev, a former KGB department head, saying Trump was recruited as an asset in the 1980’s. His code name is Krasnov.
