And the correct party win. Poland is a country which intensely dislikes russians seconds are ordinary Czechs, not the tiny pro Putin parties which are poping and diseapearing at the same time.

Simion would have immediately joined forces with Putin’s existing proxies in Europe—Orban in Hungary, Fico in Slovakia, Simion in Romania.

Are there two Simions in Romania ?

Now if the intelligence of voters in Germany, Canada and Romania could be infectious and spread to the U.S. in 2026, that would be worthy of an all night celebration.

Citizens are finally waking up to the danger they face and losing all the hard won gains since 1945 in the west and 1989 in the former Soviet Bloc countries. Now if Law and Justice in Poland can be soundly defeated by Tusk’s allies, Europe will be in an even stronger position.

Regarding the US, it needs Europe more than it realizes and hopefully this will give Rs some spine to stand up to the Orange Clown at least on foreign policy. I won’t hold my breath on that last part just yet. But momentum could make it happen.

100% a victory lap is called for. Thanks for pointing out the new Axis of Evil - Putin - maga bros - tech billionaires. All must be defeated.

It is doable. Even within the US, we see pockets of resistance. D’s or I’s are winning in traditionally R led places. People see the change. You can not erase FDR’s vision, expectations and decades of progress without losing for a century. That is what maga is doing.

This is an incredibly interesting and helpful article. Thank you for explaining all of this! I was so relieved when the Romanian election results came in. What is stunning to me is that the other far right candidates who lost concede almost immediately. Trump is still the only one who denies the election results (to this day). That is encouraging to some degree. I hope and pray that Americans come to the same conclusion about Trump that the rest of us have.

And the rest of the EU countries and the western ones who are still democratic, should ALL be sidelining Trump and the USA as fast as they can cut the ties!
