Syrskyi Pulls Troops Out of Kursk
The propaganda machine will be in overdrive today, but we have the maps to prove otherwise.
I saw it up close during Ukraine’s withdrawal from Avdiivka. A few soldiers were left behind, but the Russians exaggerated their numbers to such an extent that it threatened the integrity of Ukrainian commanders. A similar disinformation campaign may be at play today. However, we can clearly see from brigade positions in Kursk that Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi executed an orderly withdrawal—not a chaotic retreat.
There are miles of distance between Ukrainian brigades at the front and the Russian brigades—miles.
