The Institute for the Study of War reported yesterday that Ukraine “conducted a series of limited attacks across the Russia-Ukraine international border near Tetkino, Kursk Oblast.” This isn’t the place our minds usually go when we talk about Kursk. The breach sits nearly 20 kilometers east of Sudzha—the anchor town around which Ukraine’s August 2024 invasion of Kursk Oblast was built.
Not far, but still miles away from the former nerve center.
